About us
There was a moment everything changed
We didn't plan to start a foundation, we were simply trying to find our way through something no one prepares you for.
Before the accident there was her - full of life, light and love. The sun to people around her.
Losing Phoebe changed everything, but it didnt change what she gave, we carry her light forward in a differnt way.
We didn't choose this path - but we chose what to do with it.
This is where light begins again...
We didn’t plan this foundation—only to find our way through something no one prepares you for.
We carry Phoebe’s light forward.

Her Story
The Phoebe Dawson Foundation was established in late 2025 to honour the vibrant legacy of our “Sunshine Girl,”
Phoebe Kate Barnet Dawson a wife, daughter, sister, aunt and friend, died tragically in a car accident on 19th February 2024 aged 31 years.
Phoebe lived with a rare kind of energy - full of warmth, empathy, and a deep commitment to helping others. She discovered her calling while working in a remote village medical centre in Kenya, and went on to build a meaningful career in nursing. From the frontlines of respiratory and oncology care to supporting the COVID-19 vaccination effort, Phoebe dedicated her life to improving the health and wellbeing of others.
Phoebe’s spirit continues to shine through the work of this Foundation. Today, we carry her passion forward by raising funds and awareness for charities that support children and families through challenging times.
